Deyang Museum, Deyang Cultural Center and Deyang City Library Reopened Successively

Deyang Museum, Deyang Cultural Center and Deyang City Library have recently reopened successively, but there are still restrictions on the business hours, number of visitors and tourist area.

On March 14, Deyang Museum reopened Deyang Confucian Temple, with the maximum daily number of visitors restricted to 500. No group visit is accepted, and no guide service is provided. The business hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday (other than legal national holidays). By now, the entrance and exit passage of the front (west) gate of the Memorial Archway of Succeeding Doctrines is open, while the passages of the Wenmiao Pedestrian Street (east gate) and the Memorial Archway of Time-honored Virtues (southeast gate) are closed temporarily. What's more, all tourist areas of Deyang Confucian Temple are fully open, while the enclosed areas including indoor exhibition halls (West Wing, Eastern Side Hall, Western Side Hall, and exhibition hall on the second floor) and the visitor center are closed.

Deyang Cultural Center reopened for free visits in an ordered way on March 18. The business hours are 9:00-12:00 a.m. and 2:30-5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Venue reservation is required for the tourist area (1 dance studio, 1 vocal music studio, 1 arts and calligraphy studio and the gallery hall). The total number of people staying in the same studio or the gallery hall at the same time shall not exceed 10, and the daily upper limit for visitors in the gallery hall is no more than 100 persons.

Deyang City Library also reopened for free visits in an ordered way on March 18. The business hours are 9:00-12:00 a.m. and 2:30-5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. It is only open to the readers with household registration in Deyang and valid reader certificate of the library, and only the lending room is open. Besides real-name registration for entry, all readers shall enter and exit from the east gate of the Library (opposite to the Movie Theater), and must queue at an interval of more than 1.5m. During the epidemic, the business handling area of the Library is only available for no more than 3 readers at the same time.

     It shall be noted that all people going to the Museum, Cultural Center and Library shall scan the QR code of "Deyang Citizens" there and present the scanning result to staff. “Red and yellow codes are restricted and green codes are accepted.” People with “green codes” may enter after the temperature is tested as normal. The elderly, students and other people with smart phone operation inconvenience shall present their ID cards or any other valid certificates for real-name registration, and enter after the temperature is tested as normal.
