On April 10, Li Wenqing, Party Secretary of the CPC Deyang Municipal Committee, met with Princess Maha Sirindhorn of Thailand in Guanghan City, Deyang Municipality.

During the meeting, Li Wenqing, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, extended a warm welcome to Princess Sirindhorn for her visit to Deyang and presented Mianzhu New Year pictures, a national intangible cultural heritage, and other local products. Before the meeting, Princess Sirindhorn led her delegation to visit Sanxingdui Museum.

At the Sanxingdui Museum, Princess Sirindhorn visited the exhibitions of "Dream of the Century", "Glorious Palace", "Heaven, Earth and God", etc., to learn about the history, the status quo of Sanxingdui Site and the latest results of archaeological excavation and research. Then, Princess Sirindhorn listened to the narration, observed and recorded it with pen. She showed a strong interest in the imaginative bronzeware, colorful goldware and various jade ornaments. Through the glass cover, she carefully appreciated the cultural relics from all angles, filmed with her cellphone, and also asked the guide from time to time what she was interested in.

At the cultural and creative area of Sanxingdui Museum, Princess Sirindhorn highly appreciated the exquisite cultural and creative products of Sanxingdui elements. During her visit, Princess Sirindhorn expressed her sincere admiration to the infinite artistic charm, rich cultural connotation and historical information contained thereof.

Thai Ambassador to China Tanee Sangrat and other Thai officials, Ambassador Lu Jian of the Department of Asian and African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office Li Huaiqiang, Standing Committee Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Li Jiangbo accompanied the visit.
