Recently, Chongqing Jiangbei District Education Bureau visited Deyang and exchanged views with Deyang's counterpart on issues such as sister schools, and joint construction of high-quality schools for basic education, the teaching management strategy of senior high school under the background of the new college entrance examination, and the practical exploration of stimulating the vitality of primary and secondary schools in the new era. During the period, the education departments of two cities signed a framework agreement on educational cooperation in Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle so as to realize resource sharing, complementary advantages and coordinated development.
In terms of basic education, both sides will share resources, carry out inter-school cooperation, encourage sister schools and joint construction of high-quality schools for basic education and cooperate in education and teaching, quality education, teaching management, physical aesthetic education, labor education and mental health education. They will deepen training and exchange of teachers, carry out joint research, open research platform, and share training and cultivation resources of teachers. Establish the alliance of famous teachers and principals, and jointly promote the construction of their studios. Also, they will share the educational expert resources, and attract the educational experts from the other side into the local educational expert database.
In terms of vocational education, both sides will form a vocational education alliance, build a coordinated development mechanism of vocational education of the two cities, and jointly carry out activities such as skills competitions, faculty training, vocational education forums, and employment recruitment to support the vocational colleges of both sides to run schools in collectivization. Optimize the talent training mode, strengthen the teaching and research exchanges between vocational colleges of both sides, focus on the talent demand of industrial development, optimize the specialty setting of vocational colleges, promote the industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation between the two cities, and jointly drive the reform of the talent training mode for vocational education.
In addition, both sides will build a platform for sharing human resources, closely meet the needs of skilled personnel for industrial development in Chengdu-Chongqing region, fully realize the advantages of vocational education between the two cities, promote the construction of Deyang Industry & Education Integration Test Area in Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle, and actively develop and provide high-quality skilled personnel in equipment manufacturing, electronic information, trade and tourism, engineering and construction, and medical and health care to Jiangbei District.
Share the training base, open the practical training base, build the exchange and cooperation mechanism for practical training between teachers and students of vocational colleges of the two cities, and build a high-level, professional and characteristic practical training base.
After the education departments of the two cities signed the agreement, Chongqing No.18 Middle School and Deyang Middle School, Chongqing Jiangbei Xincun Experimental Primary School and Deyang Experimental Primary School, Chongqing Liangjiang Vocational Education Center and Deyang General Electronic Science and Technology School also signed sister school agreements respectively, covering many aspects such as school management, teacher training, teaching and research, professional co-construction and brand building.
