Recently, the chief of Deyang National Agricultural Science and Technology Park attended the Symposium on the Organization and Application for Innovation Projects of National Agricultural Science and Technology Park in 2021 and learned relevant policies at Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province.
The chief of the Rural Affairs Office of the Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province explained in details the subject of application, project type, implementation period and other aspects, and gave in-depth and detailed guidance on the preparation of application materials, project process management and other key links. The chief of Deyang National Agricultural Science and Technology Park had interactive communication with the heads from science and technology bureaus, parks and rural affairs offices of other municipalities (prefectures) .
Deyang National Agricultural Science and Technology Park plans to apply for a key project of "Blockchain plus Kiwifruit Difference Technology Integration and Promotion Demonstration". The project contents include the breakthrough in key technologies of blockchain plus kiwifruit innovation platform construction, the establishment of Digital Agricultural Innovation Laboratory of Blockchain Technology for Kiwifruit in Sichuan and Chongqing and the One-stop Digital Service Platform for Kiwifruit Industry, and the cultivation of 3 agricultural high-tech enterprises in animal husbandry and agriculture within Mianzhu Mountain.
Once it’s implemented, the project will further expand Mianzhu's kiwifruit industry with local advantages, break through more than 5 key generic technologies for industrial development, develop 3-5 new products, integrate and transform more than 10 advanced and applicable scientific and technological achievements, so as to improve the land output rate and labor productivity in the Park by more than 20% over those outside the Park, and increase the average annual income of farmers in the Park by more than 15% compared with that outside the Park.
