On July 23, JD held the opening ceremony for its Urban Flagship Store in Deyang. This is the first urban flagship store of JD in Sichuan.

JD Deyang Urban Flagship Store is located on Liangshan Road in Jingyang District, with a business area of 10,000m² and expected to be in formal business on September 30. After completion, it will be Deyang's largest household appliance 3C experiencing and shopping place as well as the center of experience, exhibition and service for JD's offline members. To provide in-depth shopping experiences, JD Deyang Urban Flagship Store builds more than 30 themed interactive areas including a kitchen with embedded kitchen appliance, an Esports game area with HD live stream, and a 5G display area. The store thoroughly implements JD's online service standards and extend such advantage to offline activities.

The chief of Deyang Municipal Commercial Bureau told the reporter that the opening of JD Deyang Urban Flagship Store was not only a concrete course of action of JD to carry out its market layout, but also a new gate for Deyang's consumers to experience smart life. JD is China's largest online and offline retail group listed among Fortune Global 500. JD Deyang Urban Flagship Store is a new mode of consumption developed by JD based on its technical and service advantages and online and offline businesses, also the embodiment of JD's efforts in further developing the domestic market and the "One City, One Store" Planning.

In recent years, Deyang Municipal Party Committee and People's Government attached great importance to E-commerce. As a result, E-commerce has been developed rapidly in the city.
