On the afternoon of June 28, the Conference of Integrated Industrial Development of Chengdu and Deyang was held in Deyang. 50 famous enterprises in the two cities exhibited their corporate images and quality products on the site with nearly 100 representatives of enterprises attending it. Under the assistance of Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Technology Department, co-sponsored by Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology as well as Deyang Economic and Information Technology Bureau, this conference is to thoroughly implement the development strategy “One Trunk with Multiple Branches” put forward by the Provincial Party Committee and accelerate the construction of a new regional development pattern “One Trunk with Multiple branches, Coordinated Development of the Five Economic Zones”. It also aims to promote the integration of industrial planning as well as the comprehensive cooperation, branding and market development between Chengdu and Deyang.

In the conference, Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology and Deyang Economic and Information Technology Bureau jointly issued Recommended Catalogue of Local Famous Products of Chengdu and Deyang in 2019; Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology introduced the compilation of Integrated Industrial Development Project of Chengdu and Deyang; Chengdu and Deyang also signed Memorandum of Cooperation on Marketing Service Stations for Famous Products in Chengdu and Deyang, Strategic Framework Agreement for Service Cooperation of Chengdu and Deyang’s Industrial Park, and Strategic Cooperation Agreement for Small and Medium Enterprises. In addition, a service platform for SMEs and platform for service industry development in the parks are established.

       In recent years, the economic and information technology bureaus of the two cities has given priority to the integrated development of the industry according to the requirement of the Provincial Party Committee. With their initiative actions, a good start in this field is realized. At present, Deyang, in line with Chengdu’s strategy of “Advancing towards East”, plans to build a 100-square-kilometer Kaizhou New City with equipment manufacturing industry as its core; it is also striving to build Kaizhou New City, Huaizhou New City, Jianzhou New City and the Industrial Synergy Development Zone in Airport New City. In terms of attracting investment, Deyang has established a “capital pool” and "land pool" for major projects, so that their “monthly dispatch and quarterly training” can be promoted and factors like environmental capacity, water, energy and logistics can be strengthened. For policy support, in addition to the inclusive policies such as Preferential Tax Policy for West China Development Drive, there are a series of other preferential policies including supporting facilities of central government-owned enterprises, science and technology services, modern finance, cultural industries, technology enterprise incubation and Sunshine Angel Investment Fund.
